Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Joakim Anmorim, Research Programmes Manager at the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research(SSF), to our office.

During our meeting, Heewoong Park, Director of KNTEC and the NRF Stockholm office, provided an overview of KNTEC’s key activities and plans for 2024. This included sharing the outcomes of successful programs we’ve completed this year, such as the two LEDARE Workshops, three Strategic Seminars, and the Next-Gen Research Leader Workshop, as well as the programs we have lined up.

We also reviewed the progress of the joint research program between the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) and SSF. This program, backed by a joint investment of close to 100 million SEK, supports research collaborations, joint seminars, conferences, workshops, and researcher exchanges for the selected projects.

Lastly, we discussed future directions for strengthening our partnership and continuing our work together.
