『Horisont Europa – årsbok 2025』 보고서에 따르면, 스웨덴은 현재까지 총 18억 유로(약 2조 8천억 원) 이상의 연구비를 확보하며 전체 Horizon Europe 예산의 3.47%를 차지해 유럽 8위를 기록했습니다.
특히 연구 우수성 분야(Pillar 1)에서는 4.21%, 유럽혁신위원회(EIC)에서는 5.39%의 높은 점유율을 보이며 세계적 수준의 연구 및 혁신 경쟁력을 입증했습니다.

Horizon Europe, the European Union’s flagship research and innovation framework programme, is the world’s largest multinational R&D initiative with a total budget of €95.5 billion for the period 2021–2027. According to the report “Horisont Europa – Yearbook 2025,” Sweden has secured more than €1.8 billion in funding so far, representing 3.47% of the programme’s total allocated budget and ranking 8th among participating countries. Sweden demonstrates particularly strong performance in Pillar 1 (Excellent Science), where it achieved a 4.21% share of funding, and in the European Innovation Council (EIC), where it secured 5.39% of total funding.

The report highlights Sweden’s strengths in health, climate-energy-mobility, and innovation-related programmes, while also emphasizing the need to strengthen participation in large-scale industry-oriented collaborative projects.
