On August 4, 2025, KNTEC had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Samsung Science & Technology Foundation, including Chairman Young Kuk and Dr. HyeonSoo Kim, Head of the Research Funding & Incubation Center for Future Technology.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening Korea–Sweden research and innovation collaboration. KNTEC Director Heewoong Park introduced the Center’s mission, key challenges, and various programs, highlighting KNTEC’s role as a bridge for scientific and technological cooperation between Korea and the Nordic region.

Chairman Young Kuk noted the broad scope of KNTEC’s activities and emphasized the need for increased budget support to match the growing demands. He expressed his intention to actively support the Center’s further development.
