이번 협약은 위험감수형 연구와 혁신, 지식 기반 창업 활성화, 사회적 결속 강화, 연구에 대한 신뢰와 학문적 자유 보장, 국제 협력 확대를 위한 제도적 기반을 마련하는 데 목적이 있습니다.
특히 2026~2029년 연구·혁신 협약을 통해 정부와 협약 당사자들은 향후 4년간 덴마크 연구·혁신 정책의 핵심 방향을 제시하고, 핵심 기술 및 국방 연구, 녹색 전환, 건강 분야, 그리고 대학의 자유 연구·혁신 재원에 대한 대규모 다년간 우선 투자를 확립하였습니다.

The Danish government and the parties to the political agreement have agreed to implement strong, multi-year priority investments in key strategic areas—security, the green transition, and health—which play a crucial role in addressing future challenges and strengthening Denmark’s competitiveness.
The agreement establishes a solid foundation for risk-taking research and innovation, knowledge-based entrepreneurship, social cohesion, trust in research and academic freedom, and enhanced international cooperation.
Through the 2026–2029 Research and Innovation Agreement, the government and the agreement parties set the overall direction of Denmark’s research and innovation policy for the next four years. The agreement significantly strengthens multi-year priority funding for key technologies and defence research, the green transition, health, and free research and innovation funding for universities.
