핀란드 고용경제부(Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, MEAE)는 2024년 5월 1일부터 2025년 3월 14일까지 활동하는 양자기술 전략 작업반을 구성하여, 핀란드 양자기술전략(2025–2035) 수립을 추진하고 있습니다.
핀란드는 소규모 국가임에도 불구하고 세계적 수준의 양자 연구 및 혁신 역량을 바탕으로 강력한 양자기술 생태계를 구축해 왔으며, 완전한 양자컴퓨터를 자체적으로 개발·제작할 수 있는 국가 중 하나로 평가받고 있습니다.
핀란드 정부는 이번 양자기술전략(2025–2035)을 통해 8개 핵심 전략 분야와 주요 추진 과제를 설정하고, 2035년까지 양자산업 매출 30억 유로 달성과 산업 종사자 1만 명 확보라는 구체적인 목표를 제시하고 있습니다.

Finland’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (MEAE) has established a Quantum Technology Strategy Working Group operating from 1 May 2024 to 14 March 2025 to develop Finland’s Quantum Technology Strategy (2025–2035).
Despite its relatively small size, Finland has built a strong quantum research and innovation ecosystem and is recognised as a global leader in quantum technologies. The country is among the few nations capable of developing and building a full-scale quantum computer domestically.
Through the Quantum Technology Strategy (2025–2035), the Finnish government has identified eight key strategic areas and priority actions, and has set ambitious targets of €3 billion in quantum industry revenue and 10,000 employees in the quantum sector by 2035.
