On February 21, 2026, the 6th UCAN Forum was successfully held in Copenhagen, co-hosted by KNTEC and KIC Europe.
Around 20 Korean students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career researchers based in Copenhagen and Malmö/Lund participated in the event.
The forum aimed to support young Korean researchers in the Nordic region in building strong research careers and expanding their opportunities in research innovation and entrepreneurship. It also provided insights into potential participation in EU research and innovation programs.
The seminar session featured presentations on KIC Europe’s research and innovation support programs, startup opportunities in Europe, and an overview of EU research and innovation funding schemes. The speakers shared practical experiences and guidance on navigating the European startup ecosystem and accessing EU programs.
The 6th UCAN Forum provided a valuable platform for young Korean researchers in the Nordic region to strengthen their networks and explore new pathways for career development in research and innovation.
